  • Child.org obtains spaces for London Marathon 2026

We’re thrilled to announce that Child.org has 12 charity places for the TCS London Marathon 2026. For the first time ever, we’ll be part of one of the world’s most iconic races!

This is a huge milestone for us, and we are delighted that we can offer our supporters a chance to run in one of the World’s Marathon Majors. Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner or taking on your first 26.2 miles, running the London Marathon is an awesome bucket-list moment.

About the London Marathon

The TCS London Marathon takes runners along the River Thames and past London’s most iconic landmarks: Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Canary Wharf, the London Eye, with a final stretch towards Buckingham Palace and finishing on The Mall.

The atmosphere throughout the marathon is unbeatable, with thousands of spectators gathering to cheer you on, and bands and DJs along the route creating an energy like no other.

Why run with Child.org?

Across the globe, mothers and babies are still dying from completely preventable causes. In Kenya, the maternal mortality rate stands at almost twice the global average (KDHS, 2014). These are not just statistics, they represent real mothers, real babies and real communities facing devastating loss.

But we can change this. Child.org champions community-led solutions to maternal and newborn mortality. We work with local governments to strengthen health systems by improving access to quality healthcare, providing essential maternal education, and working with communities to create an environment which recognises the value of empowering women with knowledge and peer support.

Every day, Child.org works tirelessly because we know that reproductive, maternal and newborn healthcare is a human right. This essential work would not be possible without our extraordinary event participants.

How we will support you

Child.org is a small, friendly and passionate team of seasoned fundraisers with a long history of supporting challenge event participants. We really value taking the time to get to know our runners so that we can support you in the best way possible.
