In July 2019, a brilliant friend and lots more amazing women will cycle 450km across Kenya to raise money for the child.org Team Mum campaign, to give Mums in Kenya better maternal and neonatal care. Currently 1 in 26 babies die before the age of 1, and Child.org is a small, dynamic charity changing the fortunes of these children in Kenya and more recently Sierra Leone - see https://child.org/team-mum for more info. Thomas and some 6+ year old friends are going to do their bit by cycling 10km around Richmond Park on May 12th - the aim is to raise some more money whilst nurturing the charitable instincts of tomorrow's generation! All money raised will go directly to the charity (the cyclists will fund their own travel costs to Kenya) and even better, if you donate before the end of April, the government will match anything you donate :) Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated by us and of course the Mums of Kenya and Sierra Leone - thank you so much. Love Thomas and Emily x
What am I doing?
In July 2019 I will be riding across Kenya with other riders from around the world to raise money for Child.org.

In Kenya, one in 26 babies don't live to see their first birthday. Team Mum fundraising supports Child.org's work to arm new mums with the health information and support they need to keep themselves, and their babies safe. This year, Team Mum fundraising will launch pregnancy support groups in rural Kenya.

About Child.org
Whoever they are, wherever they're born, every child
deserves an equal opportunity. Child.org are here to make that
happen.
Child.org work in the most difficult places in the world to grow up. We remove whatever barriers stop children from getting the most out of life.
Sometimes we give them a nutritious meal so they can attend and get the most out of school. Sometimes we provide access to clean water or health services. Sometimes we’ll deliver all, or a combination of those things.
We believe in collecting intelligence and creating solutions that can be tailored to a child’s specific situation. We do what works.
