Charity Concierge: Camp Bestival 2019
Welcome to the registration form for Charity Concierge 2019. Before you fill in the form, make sure you have read the information on this page carefully, with particular attention to the time and date that you need to be onsite for Camp Bestival.
Important deposit information
If you haven't worked for us before, you will need a deposit of £75 (around EU90) to register (make sure you have your card on hand!). We take this for all our events. It has two purposes - first to protect us from cancellations by volunteers before the festival, then to protect us against people coming for a free ticket without attending their shifts. It will be returned to you in full 2 weeks after the festival, provided you attend the festival and come to all of your agreed shifts.
The £75 (around EU90) is a proportion of the full deposit (the value of a festival ticket). If you cancel, this will not be refunded apart from in exceptional circumstances. Once onsite, if you miss any shifts we will retain this and take the rest of the deposit from the same card.
We will also look after your passport onsite - if you'd prefer us not to look after this you will be required to pay the remaining deposit in cash. This will be returned at the end of the event.
If you have volunteered for us before, you don't need to pay the full deposit. The terms are the same as for new Concierges, but your initial fee is only £30 (yay!). Please note that we will cross check everyone who chooses the reduced deposit against our records. If we don't have a record of you attending a festival before, your registration here will not be valid and you may not be entitled to a refund.
