Why run the Brighton Marathon for Child.org?
In Kenya, 16 mothers and 29 newborns die every day during pregnancy and childbirth.
Most of these deaths are completely preventable.
Child.org works to make pregnancy and birth safer for women and babies. To do this, we work with communities and government in Kenya to improve access to, and quality of, critical maternal and child health services.
By running the Brighton Marathon, you will not only raise critical funds to support our work, but also become part of a community of changemakers; championing a kinder, fairer and safer world for women and their babies.
How we will support you during the Brighton Marathon
Child.org is a small, friendly and passionate team of seasoned fundraisers with a long history of supporting challenge event participants. We really value taking the time to get to know our runners so that we can support you in the best way possible.
