From the wettest Download on record to the busiest V Festival in years – we faced new challenges and exciting experiences at every turn with Charity Concierge this summer. Over 370 volunteers joined us along the way – new romances blossomed, friendships grew, Beiber was bonded over.

In total, our amazing team of volunteers collected donations totalling £86,521.17 – that’s around 12,000 customers served!

We kicked off the season at Download where despite the rain, our volunteers struggled through and persuaded the poncho-hidden rockers to let them go through the mud for them, fetching drinks from the bars.

A few weeks later at Latitude, we took on a whole new challenge in the way of festival taxis – some teething problems on the first day were all overcome thanks to Ami’s incredible management and the buggy driving teams’ commitment and hard work.

At V in August, our Concierges were helping customers beat the 45 minute queues to get their drinks and using their tent pitching skills to help those who’ve grown up in world of TOWIE.

Finishing at Electric Picnic in the first weekend of September, volunteers and staff alike attempted to keep up with the Irish. Austin, team leader of Savoy, said of the experience that he could ‘Help kids by day, sesh hard by night’.

With a special thanks to every volunteer, team leader and supervisor, and to the on-site management team – Clare, Hannah, Jenny, Will, & Chris – who made it all work, here’s to doing it all again next year!
