Fundraising Social enterprise

As you may have heard, in July this year we launched a new fundraising product at Latitude Festival, called Charity Concierge. We know that nobody wants to waste time at a festival doing mundane things like queuing at the bar or putting up their tent when they could be watching their favourite band, relaxing in the sun, or exploring the surreal sites around them. So we took a group of 80 volunteers and set them to work getting drinks, setting up tents, carrying bags and even bringing people breakfast straight to their tents in return for a donation!

The service was a huge success - over the four days we served over 3,000 people and raised thousands to help the children we support in Kenya, Uganda, Ghana and Sierra Leone. Every penny raised was generously matched by Festival Republic allowing us to have double the impact. You can read some more about Latitude and some of the feedback we received here.

Following this success, we have some very exciting news… Our Concierges will be back, bright and beautiful as ever, at Latitude in July 2016! Excitingly, I can also confirm that we will be taking them to at least three other festivals this year - you’ll be seeing our wonderful volunteers at Download (10th-12th June), V Festival (20th & 21st August), and Electric Picnic (2nd-4th September).

We can’t wait to bring some added luxury to these festivals, and we’d love you to be a part of it. There are great benefits to becoming a concierge - secure camping, a ready-made Child.org family, a full day off to enjoy the festival, and the fantastic feeling of knowing that you are raising valuable funds to help children across Africa access the opportunities they deserve. It’s also great fun being everyone’s favourite person at the festival!

To join us at any or all of the events next year, register for priority access to Concierge opportunities here and we will be in touch soon.
